Woah! Hello, what a new year surprise! The first post since October. We started this blog at the last new year and looks like we didn't quite complete the whole 12 month/52 week/365.25 day cycle. Even my Song of the Week, which had a whole year up on the blog itself, took an extended hiatus. I don't know about you, reader, but that bums me out. If you're actually looking at this blog two months into nothingness, you must be. Why else would you so persistently return?
Alas, I made a promise to myself and those interested that no matter what, there will be one song for every week of the year, regardless of how late they get posted. I've come back to fulfill that promise, and upon my deciding process noticed many songs still needing a feature beyond 2010. Therefore, it is quite likely I will be continuing the series into 2011, especially since the end-of-the-year playlists are actually very good listens.
The format will change a bit though for the new year's playlist to help keep a timely schedule and interesting spectrum:
